Jonesborough Senior Center to host Autumn Outing

The Jonesborough Senior Center will host Autumn Outing, an outdoor event, on Friday, September 24 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be held at the Jonesborough Senior Center, located at 307 East Main Street. This event is open to the general public.

The Autumn Outing will include a performance from The Jonesborough Novelty Band, games including horseshoes, ring toss, checkers and Tic Tac Toe, cornhole and croquet, door prizes and food trucks.

Walk with Ease, a Jonesborough Senior Center monthly activity, will happen that day going through downtown Jonesborough starting at 11:30 a.m. meeting in front of the Senior Center. Attendees do not have to preregister.

The Senior Center will also be conducting fitness testing from 11 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. with 10 minute sessions per person. Interested participants must sign up for a slot, and can call ahead at 423.753.4781.
