Main Street Jonesborough’s concert series, Brews & Tunes, continues weekly with live music, a variety of craft beer and cider and rotating food trucks. The 6th season of Main Street Brews and Tunes in Downtown Jonesborough continues through September with five concerts remaining before the close of the season. The event takes place on the International Storytelling Center Plaza every Sunday afternoon. Food and beer will be served at 4 p.m. with live music from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Each week a different brewery will be featured along with rotating food trucks which offer a variety of foods including barbeque, pizza, tacos, sweet treats and more. Gypsy Circus Cider Company will offer a cider, and non-alcoholic local root beer will be available. The music line-up for this season will feature some local favorite groups and singer/songwriters.

This Sunday, August 29, Julie Williams, whose Appalachian influences & style blends bluegrass, old-time, country, gospel, folk and a dash of rock, will play from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Brews will be on tap from Red Silo Brewing Company and Gypsy Circus Cider Company, and food will be provided by Rockin’ Rivet Pizza and Appalachian Ice.

Musicians to look forward to for the remainder of the season are My New Favorites, J.P. Mathes II and Fiddling Leona, Donnie and the Dry Heavers and Momma Molasses.
