The Historic Jonesborough Visitors Center and Old Town Emporium, a multi-purpose facility, is used to welcome visitors, is a local artisans shop and bookstore and provides a place for the community, private, public and business sectors to meet.
Here you can pick up an official Historic Jonesborough Visitors Guide, seasonal events brochures, self-guided walking tour, local and regional maps as well as answers to any questions you may have. The Center also houses the Jonesborough-Washington County History Museum which is filled with early East Tennessee hand-made furniture and dated photos of Jonesborough as a stage coach town. Take a few minutes and browse through the Old Town Emporium Gift Shop for books by local authors, hand-made crafts by regional artisans and official Historic Jonesborough merchandise.

The Hostess Staff at the Historic Jonesborough Visitors Center is often used as "Information Central" when it comes to answering questions about current and upcoming events in Jonesborough. Hostesses also serve as operators of the Town’s box office ticket operations for Jonesborough Repertory Theatre, Jonesborough Yarn Exchange and other ticketed town events.
